This treasure was found down the street from me for about $4.50.Hand painted doors with silk tassels it opens up to 3 drawers inside with little handles.The bottom drawer is missing the handle which i believe was similar to the smaller ones.It is stamped on the bottom with "Made in Japan"
Love this jewelry box! I see a few of them at my thrift stores too, but they aren't in as good of a condition. Great find!!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to amass a collection of Japanese jewelry boxes... mine aren't as tall though (they're wider) and are also musicboxes. You paid a great price for it. :)
